The American Samoa Visitors Bureau is seeking an experienced I.T and Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of all hardware and software systems, as well as producing high-quality multimedia content for our organization.
Responsibilities:
● Provide technical support and maintenance for all hardware and software systems.
● Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
● Install, configure and update software and hardware systems.
● Ensure that all software and hardware are up to date and functioning properly.
● Manage and maintain the company's website, social media accounts, and other online platforms.
● Create and produce high-quality multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and animations.
● Technical knowledge of and ability to operate various camera equipment from DSLMs to Drones.
● Develop and maintain content for multimedia platforms and ensure that it meets the organization's standards.
● Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop multimedia concepts, scripts, and storyboards.
● Ensure that all multimedia content is optimized for various platforms, including social media, websites, and mobile devices.
● Stay up to date with new trends and technologies in multimedia and I.T to ensure that the organization remains innovative and competitive.
● And various duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia, or related field.
● Proven experience as an I.T and Media Specialist or a similar role.
● Proficiency in multimedia software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant software.
● Strong technical knowledge of hardware and software systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
● Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
